There was this police motor cycle parked near my store. Where is the officer? Across the street there is a doughnut store. Maybe he's there... I feel like having doughnut once a year or so. Then I have a few of those little round balls, and I'm fine for the next year. Turban contest it is. I had no idea that there was such a thing. They check the symmetry, speed and tieing style. Practice from childhood makes that perfect, huge turban. Everyday I learn something new. Here is a name tag for the cash register at the store. One of the staff loves to make signs like this. He chose different designs for everyone, according to the image and the taste of that person. Then, why Sailor Moon for me? He told me that he was looking for the image of Princess Kaguya, the Moon princess in the ancient Japanese folklore, but couldn't find one, and settle with a modern version of it. How did he know that I was the Moon Princess in disguise? I'd better go home soon, before my homeland gets crowded with space stations. But no one has come to get me back there yet. The newsletter from the Federation of Russian Canadians. Our Russian Hall is part of this national federation, even though practically we are independent, since other branches are not very active like us any longer. But our newsletter which is published by the headquarter in Toronto is still very active. It is 16 pages big, and quite professional looking. The contents varies a lot. If there is political article, it's inclined to socialism, and if there is some philosophical article, it tends to be rather atheistic. Since most of our members are senior citizens, health and health care system related issues are frequently discussed. There are also many articles in memory of members who went to... where do the atheists go when they are done here?
